Why You Should Gamble Responsibly

addiction-to-gambling Problem gambling, like all other addictions, can interfere with an individual’s job, relationships and financial position. This can lead to them losing their job, fighting with their friends and family, and even breaking the law to steal more money to gamble with.

It’s a serious problem that should not be taken lightly. It’s usual for a person to first be in denial and to think that they can stop at any time. In truth, the only way one can cure an addiction to gambling is to admit they have a problem, go ‘cold turkey,’ and get treatment.

Am I addicted to Gambling?

They will want to gamble even though they have no money, know that their husband/wife/partner have made them promise to stop, or know that they are on casino black-lists.

Here are some warning signs that you could have an addition to gambling:
  • You are secretive about your gambling habits and tend to hide the evidence of gambling sprees.
  • You don’t know when or how to stop until all your money is spent.
  • You gamble even when you are broke or owe a lot of money to the bank.
  • You have heard friends and family tell you that they are worried about your gambling habits, even though you often tell them they have nothing to worry about.
