ONLINE POKER HANDS

Different types of poker use different types of online poker hands rankings. Hold'em, 7 Card Stud, Omaha, and 5 Card Draw all use the traditional 'high' online poker hands. Stud Hi/Lo, Omaha Hi/Lo, and Razz use the 'Ace to Five' low online poker hands.The following are the Traditional High Online Poker Hands :

A Royal Flush: The best flush you can have is a royal flush, in which you will have an unbeatable hand consisting of an: ace, king, queen, jack and 10 of a suit.

A Straight Flush: has 5 cards in sequence, of the same card suit. When there is a tie, the highest rank at the top sequence wins.

A Four of a Kind: has 4 cards of a matching rank, and 1 'kicker' or side card. When there is a tie, the highest 4 of a kind will win.

A Full House: has 3 cards of the matching rank, and 2 cards of another, matching rank. When there is a tie, the highest 3 matching cards will win the pot.

A Flush: has 5 cards of the same suit. When there is a tie, the poker player with the highest ranked card will win. Sometimes the 2nd - highest, 3rd - highest, 4th - highest, and 5th - highest cards are used to break a tie.

A Straight: has 5 cards in sequence. When there is a tie, the highest ranking card of the top sequence will win.

Three of a kind: has 3 cards of the same rank, and 2 unrelated cards on the side.

Two pair: has 2 cards of the same rank, another 2 cards of a different type of matching rank, and 1 card on the side.

One pair: has 2 cards of the same rank, and 3 unrelated cards on the side.

High card: is any of the online poker hands that do not qualify for the other listed categories.

An Eight Low: is the worst hand that can qualify for low in Stud Hi/Lo or Omaha Hi/Lo. Razz poker, however, has no 'qualifier' and the lowest poker hand will win the communal pot, even if it happens to be a par, a nine low, or a queen low.
